Jay Silvernail is the founder of FBCS and is personally involved in every client relationship. From his humble beginnings as a dishwasher at age 16, Jay has held just about every possible position in the restaurant and hospitality industry throughout his 31-year career including working at the finest five-star restaurants and hotels. Most recently, Jay served as a director of a hotel chain in Reykjavik, Iceland, that manages three-star and four-star properties.
As a result of his experience, Jay has developed a wealth of knowledge in how restaurants can gain efficiencies in every aspect of their business. He created FBCS and its inventory and cost control system based on his expertise with the eye to sharing it with other restaurants to help them succeed. The system’s transparency allows the team members of client restaurants to capture important day-to-day data easily and efficiently, giving them the tools to make smarter business decisions.
